The Last Day of Harry-Pott-A-Thon! My final thoughts on Harry Potter.

I was the person who said ‘I don’t think I will ever read Harry Potter‘. I didn’t have anything against the franchise, it simply didn’t interest me.

Come the 20th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone last month, I got the crazy idea to read the entire series. Why not? Then it’s done, I won’t any longer be the person that hasn’t read Harry Potter and I will know what all the fuss was about.

 

I am happy to admit I didn’t have high expectations. I knew the series would be good – it would not have sold millions of copies and been loved by generations if it wasn’t.

But I didn’t expect to be as captivated and entertained like I was.
